So, it seems that when I blog... on rare occasion... it is always more than one. Here goes #3....
So, the update... I got called back the day after I interviewed and I was offered a position on the heart and lung tower at St. Joe's... and I was offered a days position (I was expecting to work nights as a new grad). Amazing. What a blessing. I start on Monday. Lots of emotions... scared, nervous, excited.
So, somehow, we are looking at houses right now. Some crazy person pre-qualified us and so we have started the process. We are ok with waiting if we don't find something we like now, but the $8k first-time home buyer incentive is enticing to us. Josh and I like really different things. Go figure. It has been interesting to try and do this together. It is hard for me too because I have to lower my expectations, knowing that our first home will not be my dream home. Josh talks about it purely as an investment that we can trade up in a few years. But I want to talk about wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and vaulted ceilings... should be interesting to see what happens.

Boston
My first time in Boston. Beautiful. It was great fun seeing the city with Josh and getting to spend time with wonderful friends. The wedding was spectacular... we walked the streets of Boston in our wedding clothes for pics, ceremony and reception were aboard the "Spirit O Boston" cruiseline. Amazing views. Ashley was gorgeous. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Tran! Wish I had more pics from the wedding... hopefully I'll have a link soon!
Anabelle
She is my girl. Josh went to Utah a few weeks ago and took our lab (Indiana Jones) and so it was just the two of us. I actually talked to her for three days (yes, aloud... about my day, my thoughts...). I am probably crazy. But she is my favorite. She is quirky: sometimes she is super rambunctious and crazy, other times shy and tired. She can jump like 4 feet into the air (see video below) and she runs lightning fast.
And he says he doesn't love her? Pshhh....

Update
So, my blog has been neglected recently. There is good reason, however. Lots of exciting changes/transitions for the Danaher’s!
I graduated. Yay! I had an interview today at St. Joseph’s Hospital (http://www.stjosephs-phx.org/index.htm). It was such a blessing to even get an interview at this point. I should hear something by the end of the next week.
So, basically I'm adjusting to life without school. It's a wired feeling. I was in a bad mood for the first few days. I'm realizing I stake too much significance in what I "do" providing me with value. Hmmmm. I'm studying for NCLEX (my license test) everyday and hoping to test the second week of September. Also, in my new found time: trying new recipes, reading, attempting to jog every-other day (it's hot!), keeping our apt really clean, trying to get "good" at painting my nails...
Josh gave notice at his internship this week. We are confident that the Lord will provide me with a job and this way Josh can really focus on school. Classes started for him this week at ASU. He is teaching an Inner City Family Communication class. Pretty cool. He's going to do so well. He is enrolled in a total of 13.5 credits (CRAZY!) for this semester. Six credits are specifically dedicated to just research. He's doing cool stuff and I like talking with him about it.
We have been going to a new church for the past few months... Westminster Fellowship (http://www.westminsterfellowship.net/). It's different from any other church we have ever attended (further description "rain-checked" for face-to-face conversations). The people have been very welcoming and warm. We are trying to get involved in a small group (studying a book called "philisophical foundations") and I'm excited to start that. I feel pretty overwhlemed right now with all that I desire to learn, but I'm really excited about the process.
